Biography: Speak Up For Children! The 5th Judicial District Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program is looking for people with time and passion to advocate for abused and neglected children. Location: Isle of Wight County Interests: CASAs serve the best interest of children by advocating for safe, permanent homes for each child they serve! By becoming a CASA, you become a hero to a child who needs you most and an everyday hero in your community. Your involvement will make an impact for a lifetime and for generations to come. Occupation: The CASA program trains and supervises volunteers to advocate for children who have been abused and/or neglected and are receiving court mandated services. Appointed by the court, the CASA volunteer assesses the child’s situation and reports their findings and recommendations to the judge.	5th Judicial District CASA is not a member of any public groups
